Kuwait Opens an Electrical Equipments Lab in Gaza

A Kuwaiti delegation visited IUG and opened an electrical equipments lab funded by Al- Sheikh Abdalla Al- Nouri charity, carried out by Al- Rahma Association for Relief and Improvement and supervised by Al- Rahma Kuwaiti Global Association.

The delegation included Dr. Waleed Al- Anjari, Head of Al- Rahma Kuwaiti Global association, Mr. Badr Al- Shamroukh, representative of the common Kuwaiti committee of IUG and members of the board of directors of Al- Rahma Kuwaiti Global association in Gaza.

The delegation met with MP Jamal Naji Al- Khodari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Kamalen Sha'ath, IUG President, Prof. Rifaat Rustom, Vice President for External Relations and IT, Dr. Asaad Asaad, Head of Resources Development Center and Prof. Shafeeq Jondya, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

Mp Al- Khodari confirmed on the intimate relationship between the Palestinian People and the Kuwaiti People and appreciated the support which is offered by Kuwait to Palestinian students represented in giving them scholarships and funding and opening scientific labs.

Dr. Sha'ath appreciated the efforts done by the Kuwaiti People in supporting the Gazans during and after the war adding that the support offered by them motivates IUG to continue its march of education and distinction.
